Norse Advising Center

Academic advising provides students with the opportunity to openly explore academic and career alternatives with an advisor. All degree seeking undeclared students and University Studies students must meet individually with their advisor before registering for classes each semester. During the advising session, students will receive course approval for registering.

The Norse Advising Center provides advising services to these students. Students with declared majors should contact their academic departments to schedule an advising appointment. Students majoring in departments that do not require academic advising may request advising by contacting their academic department. The proper selection of courses is important for every NKU student. Therefore, you are encouraged to meet your academic advisor prior to registration each term. First-time students will be assigned an academic advisor during student orientation programs.
