Additional Registration Information for Veteran Students
Readmission of Servicemembers to Postsecondary Institutions
Under the provisions of the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, Northern Kentucky University will not deny readmission to a servicemember and will promptly readmit servicemembers with the same academic status. Our support is intended to minimize the disruption to the lives of persons performing service in the uniformed services, allowing a student to return to an institution without penalty for having left because of such service.
For additional information on military service absence and to learn more about your options regarding your registration status if returning from or are called to active duty please visit the Veterans Resource Station located in the Student Success Center (UC 131) or visit Absence Due to Military Service.
