Registration Holds

Registration holds must be cleared to register online via myNKU. You can still search for courses and place them in your registration cart, but you must contact the office or department that placed the hold before you can register. 

For advising holds, contact your academic advisor to make arrangements for clearing the advising hold.  If a hold is related to a fee, the fee must be paid before the hold will be released. For information on Academic Probation holds, click here.

Generally, holds can be released Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Not sure if you have a hold? Check myNKU! Go to My Records and select Holds.
